The Senior Corps Program Offers Volunteer Opportunities for Adults 55+


Getting older doesn’t mean you have to slow down. Interfaith’s Senior Corps volunteer opportunities offer several ways for older adults to get involved in their area. They engage people 55+ in volunteer service to:

  • Meet critical community needs
  • Keep residents active in their communities
  • Bring about positive social change

By volunteering, older adults can become tutors, ambassadors, or companions to people in need, or contribute their job skills and expertise to community projects and organizations. Become a:

As a Senior Corps volunteer, you’ll receive guidance and training so you can make a contribution that suits your talents, interests, and availability. In addition, we offer related service learning opportunities to help enhance your volunteer experience. Our partner organizations find Senior Corps activities so valuable because we can, with your help, build their capacity, while giving you, the volunteer, a sense of community.


Senior Corps is a federal program supported by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), an independent federal agency created to connect Americans of all ages and backgrounds with opportunities to give back to their communities and their nation.
